Vergel Selección is an elegant and modern organic wine made from a blend of three varieties of grapes: Monastrell, Syrah and Merlot.
The Monastrell and Merlot varieties are vinified separately in a traditional way to heighten the structure of the wine and confer upon it a more long-lived character. Later, the Monastrell wine matures for 12 months in selected casks of French oak of medium toast, which gives complexity to the wine without reducing fruitiness. The selected clusters of Syrah grapes go through a carbonic maceration process in stainless steel tanks without de-stemming to obtain a wine even more aromatic with more floral recollections and a very vibrant colour. After the fermentation at 28˚C a rack to a tank is done where a natural decantation takes place for 3 months. The result is a complex and pleasant wine with concentrated aromas and nuances that will surely seduce the senses and delight the soul.
